What is it?
The BBQ Game is a playful and approachable team building concept in which teams challenge each other through a mix of short, playful tasks. The beating heart of the game is a large electronic game box in which teams test their insight and cooperation. And afterwards? Enjoying a Belgian-style BBQ together.
How does this work?
Choose the formula that suits you
The BBQ Game is a concept that is always coupled with catering and our mobile BBQ oven. This is how we manage to fully integrate the activity and the dining area afterwards.
Catering & counseling
The basic formula
- Price: €60 per person
- Travel allowance: €1/km from Zwijndrecht
The contents
- Activities: the standard tasks of The BBQ Game – 4 approachable, fun trials that participants complete against each other in smaller teams
- Two apéros: choice of a Belgian pint or a non-alcoholic variety drunk from the bottle.
- Catering: two sandwiches per participant with a choice of 3 pieces of meat (hamburger, bratwurst, chicken burger and on request veggie burger and halal burger), after which everyone can top themselves with greens and sauce
- Guidance: experienced facilitators/grillmasters are present throughout the experience
The program
- Total duration: about 3 hours
- 1.5 hours of activities, including short apéro break
- 1.5 hours of catering, including grilling and eating together

- Everything is baked and served on the spot before your eyes
Any extras
- Extra hungry? Meat à volonté: €5 per person extra
- Soft drink formula (cola, Diet Coke, flat & sparkling water): €15 per person extra
- Wine or prosecco: €25 per bottle
- Bring your own drinks? No problem!
- Are you over budget? Omit the apéro and deduct €5 per person from the total price
- Prefer a pint from a glass? For an extra flat fee we will bring these along

Allergies & dietary requirements
In addition to our veggie and halal options, we can also provide gluten-free sandwiches. Please notify us in advance so we can prepare everything properly.
Space & location
The BBQ Game is completely mobile and can take place in almost any indoor and outdoor space: company grounds, garden, parking lot, meadow or event location.
All we need is:
- ± 50 m² of flat space
- Access for a van
- Possibly a grass field (not required, but convenient)

We also have partner venues all over Flanders and in case of bad weather, everything can largely take place indoors.
Facilities
We will provide everything you need to enjoy carefree. For example, we’ll bring standing tables to eat comfortably at, along with paper wraps and napkins. Is it raining? Then we will provide a canopy for the baking area. Upon request, we can also set up a larger tent to keep all participants dry and sheltered.
Accessible to any group
The tasks are low-threshold and are played in smaller teams against each other.
These are short, playful challenges that focus on cooperation and fun, not physical performance.
As a result, this formula is often booked for mixed groups: athletic or less athletic, young or older. Take a look at our video for a preview.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can this continue?
At (almost) any location of your choice as long as it is accessible by car + trailer and we have at least 100 m² of free, flat space to build everything up safely. Still need inspiration or help? Read more about it in our blog post on team building with catering.
For example, an affordable alternative is often a parish hall or neighborhood hall: great solution as long as the location meets the requirements (accessible to our trailer and sufficient space).
Do you take into account dietary requirements and allergens?
We provide vegan and vegetarian, gluten-free (pizza bases and sandwiches on request) and lactose-free (pizza without cheese or with lactose-free alternative). Please provide us with the exact numbers for each category at least a week in advance so we can purchase and plan accordingly. Halal is also possible on request.
How much time in advance should we book?
Thursdays and Fridays in May, June and September fill up fast, especially at The Pizza Game and The BBQ Game. So be quick about it! With our wide range and many attendants, we will certainly try to help you out last minute as well. Just give us a call and we will be happy to look at the possibilities.
Is The BBQ Game suitable for every participant?
Yes, we deliberately chose a low-threshold team building with little physical strain. This way everyone can participate and contribute in his/her own way. For further practical info and benefits about this concept, please refer to our blog post on team building with catering.
How many participants should we have at least?
For all activities coupled with catering (The BBQ Game, The Pizza Game, …) we apply a minimum of 15 paying participants, for all activities without catering we apply a minimum of 20 paying participants.

Wij huurde afgelopen weekend last minute de Laserguns en vonden het fantastisch (wel een beetje instel werk om de guns in te stellen, maar eens ze in gesteld zijn kan je aan de slag) makkelijk ophalen en terug brengen in Gent (Laarne) en vriendelijk onthaald en een degelijke uitleg gekregen!

Via Bounce-it een teambuilding activiteit geregeld voor onze onderzoeksgroep aan Universiteit Gent. De helft van onze groep was Engelstalig, maar dit was zeker geen probleem. Wij kozen voor de all-in deal, hetgeen ons praktisch de helft kostte van andere deals waarvoor we informeerden (die dan ook nog eens enkel archery tag en geen bubble soccer inhielden). Een geweldige activiteit om op terug te kijken.
