Personal data processed by Teams-Up

Teams-Up processes your personal information because you use our services and / or because you provide it to us yourself. Below you can find an overview of the types of data we process:

  • Name and first name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Location data, limited to your region (such as country) for analytical purposes
  • Data regarding your browsing habits on this website
  • Internet browser and device type

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors under the age of 16 unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16.

We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent.

Billing, payments and fees

  • If the contracting party is a professional (B2B), invoices must be paid within 15 days from the invoice date. For each unpaid invoice, interest on arrears will be charged, ipso jure and without notice of default, from the invoice date, in accordance with the Law of 2/8/2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions, with a minimum of 12% per year. In addition, damages will be charged, ipso jure and without notice of default. This compensation will never be less than 10% of the amount of the invoices and will be at least € 40.00. In the event of non-payment or partial payment of an invoice on the due date, all outstanding invoices shall become immediately payable by operation of law and without notice of default.

 

  • If the contractor is a consumer (B2C), invoices must be paid within 15 days from the invoice date. For each overdue invoice, one reminder will be sent free of charge, allowing 14 calendar days for payment. In case the reminder is sent by letter, an additional 3 working days will be taken into account. After expiration of this period, the following fees will be charged:

1° Interest on arrears at the reference rate plus eight percentage points provided for in Article 5, second paragraph, of the Law of August 2, 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.

2° An indemnity the amount of which corresponds to:

  1. (a) 20 euros if the balance due is less than or equal to 150 euros;
  2. b) 30 euros plus 10% of the amount due on the tranche between 150.01 and 500 euros if the balance due is between 150.01 and 500 euros;
  3. c) 65 euros plus 5% of the amount due on the tranche above 500.01 euros with a maximum of 2,000 euros if the balance due exceeds 500 euros.

3° A fee for reminder costs and postage for sending reminders in the event of non-payment of three due dates in the case of recurrent invoices (regular delivery of goods and services over a year). A cost of 7.5 euros is charged per reminder. In addition, the actual postage cost per reminder can be claimed.

Processing purposes of personal data

Teams-Up processes your data for the following purposes:

  • To call or email you as needed to perform our services
  • Teams-Up analyzes your behavior on the website to improve the website and tailor the offer of products and services to your preferences.
  • Teams-Up tracks your browsing habits across different websites to help us tailor our products and services to your needs.

Automatic decision-making

Teams-Up does not make decisions based on automated decision-making about things that could (significantly) affect people. This is about decisions made by computer programs or systems, without involving humans.

Retention period of personal data

Teams-Up does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

  • Data provided through contact forms: this data is kept for an unlimited period of time, as it is necessary for internal justification of our services and to enable us to perform our services.
  • Data provided via cookies / for analytical purposes: such data are collected and stored in an anonymous way according to the cookie’s lifetime. Analytical data (such as: Google Analytics) are stored indefinitely, as they are used in statistical comparisons / reports over different periods.

Sharing data with third parties

Teams-Up only shares your personal data with Google Analytics and Statcounter. We enter into a processor agreement with these companies to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Rights regarding your data

  • You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data.
  • In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Teams-Up.
  • You have the right to data portability. This means that you can send us a request to send the personal information we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
  • You may send a request to inspect, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to hello@teams-up.be.* To ensure that the request for access is made by you, please send a copy of your ID with the request. Please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport) and passport number in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks, and may refer you to our website builder.
