How much does a team-building event cost? Good question! With us, a team-building event can cost 10 euros per person if you pick up the equipment yourself, and from 60 to 75+ euros per person if we organize the activity and provide the food. In this blog post, we’ve put together a handy overview by package and by activity.
How much do you pay for a team-building event?

For the two managed service plans, there is a 75-euro setup fee per event, plus 1 euro per kilometer driven, calculated from our central warehouse in Antwerp.
Formula 1: Rentals
You can pick up the equipment, or we can deliver it. You organize the activity itself on your own property. The rental period is 24 hours, but in practice this often means picking up on day -1 and returning on day +1. We don’t charge extra for this. We only charge for an actual extra day of use. Pickup is available in Antwerp, Genk, Ghent, Kortrijk, Mechelen, Oostkamp, Sint-Niklaas, Sint-Truiden, and Turnhout. This is free of charge. There’s no deposit, and you pay afterward. The most popular activity in this lineup is bubble soccer.

Option 2: Guidance
A minimum of 20 paying participants + a 75-euro setup fee and 1 euro per kilometer driven.
With rental, you only pay for the equipment. With supervision, you also pay for someone to set up the game, explain the rules, divide the teams, keep score, and pack everything up afterward. With rental, one of you has to do that yourselves. If no one wants to do that, supervision is usually the better choice.

Option 3: Catering and Assistance
This is the most popular package, and also the only one that includes food. In The Pizza Game, we bake the pizza on-site in our own wood-fired oven. In The BBQ Game, there’s an electronic game box next to the barbecue: only when a team solves a challenge does a compartment open and a fire starter come out.
The base price is 60 euros per person and includes a 1.5-hour activity, a pizza or two fresh pistolets with BBQ meat, plus two appetizers. Plan on about three hours in total. Vegetarian, halal, or allergy requests are no problem—just let us know when you make your reservation. For our catering packages, we need about 50 square meters of outdoor space that’s accessible by van. This can take place either at an external partner location or at your own venue.

What about sports days for schools?
For schools, we offer three formulas: pick up the equipment yourself at the rental rate; have it delivered by trailer for 20 euros per student; or have it delivered and supervised by two of our staff members for 32 euros per student. The latter two options are available for groups of 60 or more students. A sports day runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in four one-hour sessions.
Four Math Examples
- Youth group, 25 members, pick up in person. Twelve bumper balls cost 275 euros and will certainly be enough for a group of this size. Picked up Friday evening in Sint-Niklaas, returned Sunday. That’s 11 euros per person for the entire weekend.
- Company, twenty employees, catering provided, fifteen kilometers away. 20 times 60 euros equals 1,200 euros. Add 75 euros for setup costs and 30 euros for transportation. Total: 1,305 euros excluding VAT, or 65 euros per person.
- Company, forty employees, guided tour without meals, fifteen kilometers away. 40 times 25 euros equals 1,000 euros, plus 75 and 30. Total: 1,105 euros, or 28 euros per person. The group is twice as large, but the price per person is lower because the setup costs and transportation are spread out among more people.
- School, 100 students, sports day with supervision. 100 times 32 euros equals 3,200 euros, or 32 euros per student for a six-hour day.
What factors determine the price?
- How large the group is. The setup fee and transportation costs are fixed. With twenty participants, that comes to just over five euros per person; with fifty, it’s just two. So larger groups work out cheaper per person.
- How far it is. One euro per kilometer. Our delivery vans depart from Zwijndrecht, not from Mechelen, where our address is located, so please calculate the cost from there. For most of Antwerp, East Flanders, and Flemish Brabant, the cost remains under fifty euros.
- Or do it yourself. See the section on guidance above. There’s a big difference, and whether it’s worth the effort depends mainly on whether there’s someone in your group who’s willing to take the lead.
- Whichever activity you choose. An escape game with iPads and a gadget box costs more than a set of bumper balls. It simply requires more materials and preparation.
Why Our Prices Are Listed Online
Comparing prices for team-building activities isn’t always easy. Many providers don’t list prices online and only provide a quote after you’ve filled out a form. We prefer to simply list our prices online. If you need to set a budget, you want to know in advance whether you’re looking at 30 or 70 euros per person.
If you do request a quote from somewhere, be sure to ask right away about the setup fee and shipping costs. Those are the two items that are usually added at the very end.
A few more questions we often get
- Can I bring my own alcohol? Yes. You’ll receive a 5-euro discount per person on the package price.
- Do I have to pay a deposit? No, and you don’t pay until the end.
- How long can I keep the equipment? The rental period is 24 hours. If you pick it up on a Friday evening, you can keep it for the entire weekend.
- How much space do I need? Archery Tag requires about twenty by ten meters. Bumperball requires a flat area free of sharp objects. For the BBQ, you’ll need about fifty square meters that’s accessible by a van.
- Can these activities be done indoors? The escape game, darts, and laser tag can. Bumper ball and Archery Tag can too, but they’re best played in a sports hall. Only the Highland Games really need an outdoor space.
- Where can I pick up my order? In Antwerp, Genk, Ghent, Kortrijk, Mechelen, Oostkamp, Sint-Niklaas, Sint-Truiden, and Turnhout.
- Can the number of participants still change? You can simply let us know the number up to one week before the event. If you’re still off by a bit within that week, the number may deviate by up to 10 percent from what was stated in the quote. This applies to the guided packages that include catering.
- What if we need to cancel or reschedule? If you cancel more than 14 days in advance, you’ll pay 10 percent of the quoted amount, or you can reschedule to a new date within the year at no charge. If you cancel within 14 days, the fee is 50 percent. Rescheduling is usually the better option, since it won’t cost you anything.
